tweens & Teens

Helping tweens & teens, understand and identify barriers keeping them from living a life of true authenticity is my passion.

I strive to provide a safe and supportive space that encourages healing, growth, honesty, and unconditional regard. In addition, multicultural, diversity, and affirming therapy roots and drives my practice and work with clients. I love helping parents understand how their own upbringings inform their struggles with parenting and in turn gain compassion for both themselves and their children.

teens

I help teens process complex emotions and other challenging life experiences so they can discover their authentic voice. I employ creative self-expression to empower and explore identities, relationships, and goals in an affirming and intentional environment.

WA Laws

The age of consent for psychotherapy is 13 years old. This means teens are considered “in charge” of their treatment. They determine how much information, if any, and how involved the parents/guardians can be in their treatment. Teens’ sessions are fully covered under confidentiality laws, and we don’t provide regular updates on their progress unless the teen wants us to. Please note that risky behaviors are covered under confidentiality and may not be disclosed unless there is a concern of imminent risk or danger to self or others.
